Happy birthday to one of the most incredible people we know & love, Anthony @asfvision ✌🏻 The IEP process is hell 🔥 I hope that my upcoming book will help many families + light a fire under policy makers and special education administrators. Schools must do better. Hey everyone, it’s Kai! I recently joined a local jazz group and I'm super excited about it! We are called Swing Theory and play gigs all around Athens, GA and the surrounding areas. Definitely look out for some upcoming information on events we are playing in April @RealSwingTheory. About to board the boat to head home from The Ossabaw Island Writers' Retreat. Six days of learning + writing + editing & touring this magical unspoiled barrier island. (+ eating, so much delicious food.) Signing off to attend a week at the Ossabaw Island Writers' Retreat. I'm thrilled to be attending on a full-scholarship after submitting the first twenty pages of my upcoming memoir called, Blur: Navigating Blindness from Isolation to Inclusion. Have you read a book by the mom of a blind child? Hey everyone, this is Kai, and unfortunately I had another bad @Uber experience. Kai is featured in Forbes! For Kai Owens, Accessibility Isn’t All About Technology. Accessibility Is About Companionship Too. Today, February 28, is rare disease day. Kai and I both have rare diseases.
